Hello everyone, I’m coming to you today with another look that will be patiently waiting in my wardrobe to be worn post lockdown, seen as this was a blog I created during lockdown pretty much every outfit shared on here so far is currently in my wardrobe waiting for its time to shine, which one day will come. At least I know when lockdown ends and there is more normality I have a list of outfits I can wear, enough to never complain again that I don’t have an outfit, well… maybe not ever again.
Now we are in February, spring is just around the corner and I can not wait, when the sun is shining more often and the days start to become longer, it makes this time at home much easier and I must say I do love the transitional outfits from winter to spring. I love layering in the winter with big coats and wooly jumpers but in the spring it’s nice to still be able to layer but with lighter clothing, like shirts and blazers which are suitable for being inside during the winter but definitely not suitable for a daily walk outside when it is 2 degrees, but are perfect for the spring weather.
This outfit will definitely be perfect for the transition from winter to spring, and what is even more perfect about this outfit is, the knitted strapless dress can be welcomed into my summer wardrobe styled with a bright coloured pair of mules, so I know this is a piece I will be styling a lot and wearing for a while. When styling this outfit, I had originally paired the shirt and the dress but I knew there was something missing, I had a simple base but I needed an item to contrast with the colours and take it to the next level. I decided to root through my wardrobe and remembered I had this beautiful blazer that would look great contrasting with the pink and greys, they really complimented each other.
Thankyou for reading this post, I will see you next time!
